Last night at a reception in NYC (at the fabulous Rouge Tomate), RIM announced the winners of the BlackBerry Partners Fund “Super Apps” Developer Challenge. The Super Apps challenge was created in an effort to drive innovative apps for BlackBerry.  Vlingo was just one of over 400 submissions for this challenge and over the course of several months has been evaluated by RIM on quality, user experience and how effectively we incorporate “Super App” characteristics.   Vlingo was submitted as a global app and was the Latin America Winner.
